Selwyn Yuen

Mr. Yuen is responsible for co-managing the firm’s proprietary research process in support of its Canadian, US and Global equity strategies. Prior to joining Hillsdale, Mr. Yuen worked for seven years at the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, most recently in the Quantitative Equities Group as a Portfolio Manager in the Global Equity Strategy. Prior to that, he worked on the derivatives desk at Scotia Capital. He has been a speaker at international conferences including the NYU Stern Microstructure Conference, Midwest Finance Association meeting, IEEE INFOCOM, etc. Mr. Yuen has over 15 years of experience in financial and quantitative analysis. He holds a BASc from the University of Waterloo, an MASc and MFin from the University of Toronto, and a PhD in finance from Northwestern University. Selwyn joined Hillsdale in September 2018.
