Amit Goel

Mr. Goel is a registered Portfolio Manager (PM) responsible for managing private clients and advisory relationships at Hillsdale. In this role, he provides discretionary investment counselling services, aiming to help investors reach their financial goals in a tax-efficient manner.

Over the past 18 years, Mr. Goel has dedicated his career to working with wealthy families. Prior to joining Hillsdale in 2016, he worked with HSBC Bank and ICICI Bank in the U.K., Sweden and India. Mr Goel is a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Charterholder, a registered CFP (Certified Financial Planner) and holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi, India.

Mr. Goel works closely with individuals and families to develop tailored investment solutions. He focuses on developing personal relationships with clients at different stages of their life cycle, whether they are high-earning professionals committed to achieving financial freedom, or wealthy families trying to optimize their approaches to managing and transferring wealth.

Mr. Goel is also an investor in Hillsdale’s multiple investment strategies, in alignment with his clients’ investment portfolios.

Mr. Goel values the time he devotes to the community. He volunteers as a board member with Village Community Foundation, a Canadian charity educating and empowering a community in rural India. He is a member of the University of Toronto School (UTS) Parent Association Executive Committee and a financial literacy volunteer with Junior Achievement Canada. He regularly contributes to the weekend edition of the Globe and Mail “Financial Facelift” section.

Mr. Goel lives in Toronto with his wife and two children. He is an avid traveler and enjoys playing and watching tennis.
