Amit Goel is responsible for the firm’s private client business, overseeing private client and advisory relationships. As a registered Portfolio Manager (PM) and Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) professional, he provides discretionary portfolio management and tailored investment counselling services to individuals, families, and business owners. He works closely with clients to align their portfolios with their financial objectives in a tax‑efficient manner. Amit brings over 20 years of international wealth management experience, having held senior roles at HSBC Bank and ICICI Bank across the U.K., Sweden and India. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) charterholder and holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi, India.
Amit is also an investor in Hillsdale’s investment strategies, aligning his interests with those of his clients. He serves as a board member of the University of Toronto School (UTS) Foundation and as President of the IIFT Alumni Association of Canada. He is also a regular contributor to The Globe and Mail’s weekend “Financial Facelift” section. Amit joined Hillsdale in 2016.
