Harry Marmer

As Executive Vice President, Harry Marmer is responsible for the firm’s institutional investment business. Before Hillsdale, Harry led the Canadian institutional business of Franklin Templeton Investments and the institutional business at the Russell Investment Group. As Principal, he co-led Mercer's Canadian Investment Consulting Practice and previously worked as a senior investment analyst at Sun Life Canada.  Harry is a frequent conference speaker and has authored more than 49 articles and a book, "Perspectives On Institutional Investment Management." He has served on several industry boards and was past president of the CFA Society Toronto, which honored him with its Investment Research Award and the Society's Volunteer of Distinction Award. Harry currently volunteers for the CFA Institute's Speaker Retainer Program, is on the editorial board of The Journal of Investing and serves on the Investment Committee for the Foundation of the Canadian Friends of Hebrew University.  Harry holds a BBA and MBA from Schulich Business School at York University.  Harry joined Hillsdale in February 2008.
