Harry Marmer is responsible for the firm’s institutional investment business. Before Hillsdale, Harry led the Canadian institutional business of Franklin Templeton Investments and the institutional business at Russell Investments. As Principal, he co-led Mercer's Canadian Investment Consulting Practice and worked as a Senior Investment Analyst at Sun Life. Harry is a frequent conference speaker and has authored over 49 articles and a book, "Perspectives on Institutional Investment Management." He has served on several industry boards and was past president of the CFA Society Toronto, which honoured him with its Investment Research Award and its Volunteer of Distinction Award. Harry volunteers for the CFA Institute's Speaker Retainer Program, is on the editorial board of The Journal of Investing and serves on the Investment Committee for the Canadian Friends of Hebrew University Foundation. Harry joined Hillsdale in February 2008.
