Harry Marmer

As Executive Vice President, Harry Marmer is responsible for the institutional investment business. Prior to Hillsdale, Harry led the Canadian institutional business of Franklin Templeton Investments as well as the institutional business at Russell Investment Group. As Principal, he co-led Mercer's Canadian Investment Consulting Practice and prior to that he was a senior investment analyst at Sun Life Canada. Harry is a frequent conference speaker and has authored more than 49 articles and a book entitled, "Perspectives On Institutional Investment Management.” He has served on a number of industry boards and was past president of the CFA Society Toronto.  Harry was awarded the CFA Society Toronto Research Award and received the Society’s Volunteer of Distinction Award. He currently volunteers for the CFA Institute on its Speaker Retainer Program, is on the editorial board of The Journal of Investing and is a member of the Investment Committee for the Foundation of the Canadian Friends of Hebrew University.  Harry holds a BBA and MBA from Schulich Business School at York University.  Harry joined Hillsdale in February 2008.
