CCGG Hosts Member Educational Forum on the Integration of ESG Metrics into Executive Compensation
On May 27, 2021 CCGG hosted a Member educational forum on the topic of the integration of ESG metrics into executive compensation. The event was co-ordinated and moderated by Environmental and Social Committee Members, Aaron Bennett (Jarislowsky Fraser Ltd.) and Dan Yungblut (1832 Asset Management LP). Panelist Chris Guthrie (Hillsdale Asset Management Inc.), also a CCGG E&S Committee member, provided the investor perspective sharing research, data and analysis as to how investors are looking at the integration of ESG metrics into executive compensation including why such integration is important, emerging best practices relating to the integration of ESG metrics into executive compensation and the identification of appropriate ESG metrics.
