Hillsdale Proudly Sponsors Michael Petersen, Elite Middle Distance Track Athlete
Michael Petersen, elite middle distance track athlete, will represent Hillsdale throughout the 2022-23 athletic season.
A former student of Western University, London, Ontario Michael graduated in June 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. While a student at Western, he was a member of the Western Mustangs Athletics Team.
Before transferring to Western, Michael was a student at Fordham University (member of NCAA D1) in New York where he was named Atlantic 10 Men’s Track and Field Rookie numerous times throughout his freshman year.
Michael recently joined the Royal City Athletic Club in Guelph, Ontario where he is coached by Terry Radchenko, one of the most respected endurance coaches in Canada.
Michael has been drafted to the Arctics for the Canadian Track and Field League and is currently the #1 ranked 800m in the league.
Added to his accomplishments, Michael has been selected to represent team Ontario at the Canada Summer Games in August 2022.
