Hillsdale Investment Management is pleased to announce that it is the exclusive Private Wealth Partner for the South Asian Bar Association (SABA). The South Asian Bar Association of Toronto is Toronto’s premier legal organization dedicated to promoting the objectives of South Asian legal professionals. Hillsdale Investment Management presented the Legal Excellence Award at the SABA Toronto Gala and Awards Night on November 27, 2019. SABA’s Legal Excellence award is presented to a member of the Ontario legal profession in recognition of their outstanding dedication, creativity, initiative, achievement and contribution to the community, profession, legal scholarship and/or pro bono activities.
Amit Goel, Head of Private Client Investment Services and Portfolio Manager at Hillsdale presented the award for Legal Excellence to Natasha Bakht, Associate Professor of Law at the University of Ottawa. Ms. Bakht’s legal scholarship explores the intersection between religious freedom and women’s equality. Ms. Bakht is the current English Language Editor of the Canadian Journal of Women and the Law.
