Hillsdale Claims Compliance with GIPS®

TORONTO, June 2009 — Hillsdale Investment Management Inc. is pleased to announce that Hillsdale claims compliance with the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS®). Furthermore, in accordance with the recommendations of the GIPS®, Hillsdale has obtained an independent third-party verification of this claim.

Recognizing the desire for increased assurance pertaining to the calculation and presentation of performance results, Hillsdale has invested significant resources to become GIPS® compliant and had this firm-wide claim verified by independent third-party sources. While GIPS® verification is currently not mandatory, we believe that today’s sophisticated investors appreciate and demand a higher standard.

Hillsdale has been verified for the period December 31, 2002 through December 31, 2008 by Beacon Verification Services and for the period, January 1, 1996 through December 31, 2002 by Deloitte and Touche LLP. A copy of the verification report is available upon request.

Created and administered by the CFA Institute, the GIPS® are a set of global, industry-wide ethical principles that provide investment firms with guidance on how to calculate and report their investment results. In 2006, GIPS® standards replaced AIMR-PPS and other local country versions of the performance presentation standards.
