Hillsdale’s Director of Trading is appointed member of IIROC Market Rules Advisory Committee

Ms. Kelly Reynolds, M.Sc, CMT, DMS, Director of Trading at Hillsdale, has been appointed a member of the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) Market Rules Advisory Committee as an Institutional/Subscriber Representative.

The IIROC Market Rules Advisory Committee provides advice to staff and the President of IIROC regarding proposed amendments to UMIR, draft guidance on the interpretation of application of UMIR and other policy matters related to market regulation.

A select group of industry professionals were chosen as members of the committee for a two-year term commencing October 1, 2014.

Ms. Reynolds has held leadership positions in many industry associations including Chair of the Canadian Security Traders Association, Co-Chair of the Trading Issues Committee of the Canadian Security Traders Association and President of the Montreal Institutional Equity Traders Association. Kelly is also a member of the Ontario Securities Commission Market Structure Advisory Committee which serves as a forum to discuss issues associated with market structure and marketplace operations in Canadian markets.
