Committed to advancing the knowledge and understanding of the practice of investment management through the publication of high-quality, practitioner-relevant research, the Award is open to all researchers conducting research related to Canadian capital markets. Areas of research interest include any aspect of investment management, such as portfolio management, asset valuation, risk management, compliance and performance evaluation. Investment fields include traditional and alternative investments, as well as all asset classes and investment vehicles (e.g. fixed income, equities, derivatives, etc.). AIMA Canada Hillsdale Research Award (2008, 2009 and 2010)
Designed to encourage and recognize high quality applied research in the field of alternative investments in Canada, the Award is open to academics, students and practitioners who are resident in Canada or are Canadian citizens. Research papers can be on any aspect of alternative investments including, but not limited to, the areas of investment strategy, regulation, trading, risk management and risk measurement.
